Start with the conversation
Frank Oliva begins by learning what you want to have painted and aligns with you on the concept, the materials, and the expected timeline for completing the piece.
Commissioning art should feel collaborative, not intimidating. The process is direct, transparent, and structured so you always know what happens next.
Why commission?
Artwork by Frank Oliva may be commissioned by private individuals, businesses, and government entities. The goal is to shape a finished piece that reflects your setting, your story, and your connection to the work.
Every project begins with conversation and ends with a custom-packed shipment, but the heart of the process is shared clarity. You know the concept, the schedule, the payment structure, and the review moments before the work moves forward.
Commissioned art works best when design, materials, schedule, and expectations are all aligned from the start. That is what turns the process from intimidating into exciting.

How it works
Frank Oliva begins by learning what you want to have painted and aligns with you on the concept, the materials, and the expected timeline for completing the piece.
Once the concept and price are clearly understood, half of the agreed amount is due upon Frank Oliva accepting the commission. After payment is received, the work begins.
When the work reaches the two-thirds stage, half of the remaining balance becomes due. Once the commissioned piece is complete, Frank Oliva sends an image for your approval before final payment is requested.
After final payment is received, the commissioned piece is custom packaged and shipped as agreed. You will be contacted again to confirm that it arrived safely and matches expectations.
The process uses staged payments so the work can begin with confidence and continue with clear checkpoints as the piece progresses toward completion.
Frank Oliva retains rights and title to the piece until it is completed and fully paid. After that, the artwork is custom packaged and tracked through delivery.
